Ok - after some research. This is *not* "The Church" from Australia. This is some band from Portland Oregon.

and The Church being a one hit wonder is moderately debatable. how many alternative bands even had a top 40 song? 'Reptile' just might be a better song.

If you're thinking about going to this show but haven't made up your mind--do it. I've seen the Church more than a dozen times and they're amazing live.
