Aspire Public Schools is a non-profit organization that is also one of the highest performing public school systems in California. They operate high performing public charter schools across the state that focus on one goal - preparing urban students for college. Their students have a 100% college admission rate.

California has made significant budget cuts for education over the past year, and schools across the state are straining for cash. Twitter's User Support team is hoping to raise at least $10,000 to help Aspire pay for for programs and classes that help prepare their students for college.

To help raise money, we're putting on a charity benefit that features the talent of fellow Twitter employees. Proceeds from ticket sales / donations will go directly to Aspire, minus the cost to run the event.
