I can report I had a great time and that when I arrived at 8:15 and that RSVP still resulted in free entry and a ticket for a free pilsner!

Yes, free if you RSVP. Yes, you're on the list if you clicked that button. RSVP CLOSES AT 6! After that, you won't see a button. Then it's 5 bucks at the door.
