Joy Division and New Order are my favorite band. This show was absolutely awful. I left early. It was like listening to Unknown Pleasures, except the singer was bad, and the guitarist was strangely compelled to add random metal licks every few bars. The Dead Souls cover show earlier that evening was vastly superior to this train wreck.

On top of that, Mezzanine has clubified themselves ridiculously since the last time I'd been. It's all about the VIP seating, bottle service, and crap acoustics these days. My desire to ever go to a show there again has plummeted massively.
