Rocco DeLuca and The Burden (RDB) and Ben Folds opened for John Mayer last year in June. RDB is a Long Beach/CA based Blues/Rockband, and a killer live band, trust me. You'll love them, wish I could be there. Check them out at: www.roccodeluca.com or www.myspace.com/roccodeluca
