Shawn: I couldn't agree more. The name of this program (although quite successful in the last couple of years) is woefully out of date. What's more, I'm not even guaranteed entry. And I'm a MySpace Music employee! Le sigh.

"Myspace Secret Shows" is just the brand name for the series of concerts. The secrecy behind their shows has long been proven to be laughable, at best.

You can't deny that Rickshaw Stop will be a much better venue than Mezzanine for a show like Deerhunter. No $11 gin and tonics, at least. I just hope that the MySpace crowd isn't as all ages as free all ages shows tend to get...

Is it really that "secret" of a show if it's advertised on MySpace? And is it really that hard to fake a printout of an HTML page that lists TurboTax in your top friends? Barf... I'll take the exorbitant drink prices and douchey atmosphere at Mezzanine over this crap, thanks.
