In honor of their day off here in SF, Amnesia will be throwing German/Canadian 14 piece soul amalgamation King Khan & the Shrines a full-blown P.A.R.T.Y.
Khan & the Shrines will DJ their own bash, accompanied by a one-time-only live revue of girl-group classics, soul, doo-wop, and 50s/60s rock and roll, brought to you by singers from Thee Oh Sees, The Fresh & Onlys, Ty Segall, Jonesin', The Sandwitches, Snakeflower 2, The Local 44s, Pillars of Silence, and more, with the ever-steady accompaniment of The Gold Star Band (Marc Dantona, Tom Heyman, Chis Sipe, Danny Eisenberg and the Fabulous Gold Star Horns).
