For some funny reason I always see Penelope around town be it in the Mission or at Lanesplitters in Berkeley just last week. Anyway they're the godmothers and fathers of SF punk and an awesome band. Saw them at Du Nord in 06 and they were awesome. I'd love to see them again.

Yes yes. It's hideously ironic that seeing the "Pioneers of Punk" cost me $74 for two tickets, but at least Flipper will be able to make their Assisted Living Care payments on time for the next two years.
