I am boycotting. The Fox officially sux. The sound in there is so bad especially for a loud band like The Pixies. $65 + conveneince fee is too much. I'm not spending $150 on a pair of tix for a concert that I know will be a let down. What ever happened to the good ole Fillmore?

Was it the entire sound or the vocals? Every time I've seen Sonic Youth, they've kept the vocals really low in the mix.

this could be good, it could be real good. It would bring me back to the days of finding that cd in a used record store in minneapolis, added to the knowledge that I saw their reunion show at coachella a couple years back and they seriously rocked it.

i also think the sound at the Fox is heinous. at sonic youth i was pretty close to the front yet felt miles away from them. terrible venue. i've been corrected on that opinion, so i'm happy to see others here also calling it ASS. agreed. damn. does this mean no one will play at the fillmore or warfield anymore?

Never been to a rock show at DAR, and never seen the Pixies. Any group at this stage, I feel like you're pressing your luck if you don't go, because who knows how much longer they'll be touring...
