Just to clarify, the buttons for this show are for the late, great Barcelona of indie pop fame ("Everything Makes Me Think About Sex", "The Downside of Computer Camp"), while the band thats performing at Slim's is the current indie rock/alternative band from Seattle who rereleased their album "Absolutes" last year.
oh man the show was killer. Missed Reign of Kindo, but caught the Barcelona. I'll be buying some music online today. I was there to see the Pink Spiders and loved their set. I was also really into Sherwood even though I'd not previously heard them before. New music rocks....especially live!
Seattle rock quartet Barcelona is currently touring in support of its first full-length album "Absolutes", which was released last September by Appeal Records in Kansas City. What began as a solo project two years ago has matured into a melodic indie-rock machine that recalls bands like Death Cab for Cutie or The Velvet Teen.
