I went last year (for free!) and it was awesome...and I can walk to Seattle Center from my apartment. I even had the "bonus" of the sweet, sweet sounds of the Wu-Tang clan blaring into my apartment window at 11 PM at night.

Final Fantasy would be amazing to see at the Independent or Cafe du Nord. I can't imagine even being able to hear him while I am two hundred yards away getting a beer at this crap convention center. I am bitter, but I am still going! Argh. Mixed memories of the Bright Eyes concert are rushing back to me.

Absolutely right ... the acoustics and crowd management at this venue are atrocious. I'm a bit worn out on Bloc Party as they visited somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 times in support of Silent Alarm, but their new record should be out by the time this show rolls around.

This venue stinks. They force you to drink within a "beer garden" and it is a glass and steel warehouse so the sound is less than ideal. But, it is Bloc Party so I suppose I can still attend.
