For the first time ever! Trannyshack pays tribute to two of the most iconic and legendary figures of the 80's. One brought an icy, androgynous, Euro-sheen to the top of the pop charts, accompanied by a singular sense of fashion and style and stunning videos. Trannyshack, San Francisco's infamous drag performance night club, incorporates everything from low brow trash to high brow performance art, and has become famous (or infamous) worldwide as the quintessential San Francisco experience. No visit to the City is complete without a stop at Trannyshack. The club has been featured in Out (which named it one of the top 10 reasons to move to San Francisco), Genre, Instinct, and Paper magazines, has won numerous Best of the Bay awards, and was filmed for an independent feature length documentary entitled "Filthy Gorgeous: The Trannyshack Story".

We are very excited to bring you news of an exclusive one show-only guest DJ appearance at Recoil's event at Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, CA on 24th October. A certain Mr Martin L. Gore will be appearing to DJ at an aftershow DM/Recoil party.

Martin has graciously agreed to appear just for this event to spin a collection of his favourite tracks. Many will be aware that Martin likes to DJ occasionally and reveal his enthusiasm for electronica.

DJ Daniel Barassi will be hosting the party as well as DJ-ing himself and there will be a meet & greet session too - so please join us for this special celebration and don't forget to bring your treasured items to be signed!

Lame! The staff came by once to make people take their drinks off the edge of the mezzanine, but everyone put their drinks back down after the guy left. It wasn't me though! I pounded my drink. BTW-Nice 8290 button!
