I absolutely had a blast at this show! I've liked UNKLE for years, but they're mostly known as an electronica/remix kind of outfit with a lot of collaborators... so a live band seemed like it might be a bit of a challenge.
Sweet jesus ~ they knew exactly what they were doing. This was one of the most rock'n, slammin', head thumping, body jumping concerts I've been to. Unlike Chemical Brothers, which was uber-fantastic in a very light show/DJ-way, UNKLE had some class A mthr-fckn hard rockers to blow the crowd away.
I could not be contained. I'm sure the peeps next to me got bruised. I still can't move my neck. It was THAT good.
yeah, I encountered the same problem with ween... usually, and I hate to say this... but if nothing shows up on ticketmaster or other sites, try the band's myspace page. Ween had the sale info there, Unkle says it's playing in october... but doesn't say when it goes on sale yet. Check there in some days.
