ah, youth! i can't slight 'em for their energy, but live, both these bands were a TOTAL disconnect for me. to say caUSE co-MOTION (with their spunky CAPS) are derivative is kinda, duh, they're obviously referencing C86, but seeing them live in all their uninspired ironic t-shirt-ness re-writes it DERIVATIVE. And the Crystal Stilts were just eh, they sounded ok, and were mostly cute to look at, but the lead singer was soooooooooooo stiff (and a titch douche-y).
