yes the layout is VERY similar to the GAMH layout, just bigger. actually its one of the better venues in town, if you can deal with the lines for drinks. The sound has been hit or miss. The Roots sound seemed off, but Broken Social Scene was perfect. Secret Machines (In the Round) was a whole new dimension of sound which worked extremely well in the space (too bad no one showed up)...

Brazilian Girls are opening this show. Grand is a nice venue, never seen a show there. How is the sound? I suspect similar to GAMH based on the ballroom layout.
