The name Sasha has been synonymous with underground electronic music forover twenty years. Beginning atEngland’s seminal house music club; Manchester’s Hacienda, to selling outlegendary club nights such as Renaissance, Cream and closer to home NYC’s Twilo,Sasha has built a name as one of the best DJ’s in the industry. Fast forward to 2012 and his presence isstill firmly rooted at the forefront of forward thinking house music,headlining some of the best music venues in the world including Berlin’s Panoramabar and London's Fabric. He's an artistthat's done it all, from being crowned #1 in the DJ Mag top 100 poll, beingresponsible for the biggest selling mix album of all time and headliningcountless festivals and global music events.
Sasha is a DJ that breaks boundaries, taking his performances to thenext level and setting new technical standards. From building The Maven, his pioneering midi controller many years ago,being the first to introduce Ableton into his sets, to his awe inspiring V_rtekshows - the notorious live LED reactionary festival show and his famed marathonsets at clubs across the world; Stereoin Montreal, The Chinese Laundry in Sydney, Ministry of Sound London to Womb Tokyo, have given him one of thestrongest global names in electronic music. After years of selling out some ofthe biggest parties in Ibiza, in 2010 he took up residency at the beach-frontbar Ushuaia, bucking the trend of playing in a generic superclub. After a yearof fantastic bookings and glowing reviews, Ushuaia has now moved to be arguablythe hottest space on the Island, a mammoth open air stage under the stars.
