oh autolux. i love their recordings! But Eugene's vocals just sound so different live. I really enjoyed Carla's drumming and her singing. I love the way they play guitar, esp. when there was no singing and just the loud guitar and bass reverb. But overall I have to say, Autolux is sleepier live.

Agreed... I *love* Autolux but that show was pretty terrible. Not at all what I expected.

I was so disappointed by their last show at the Independent (Noise Pop), I'm wondering if I should even bother. I love this band, but MAN did they not give a sh*t.

Haven't the Dodos played no less than a dozen shows in SF, this year, so far? I'm sure that they'll hit SF up again post Outside Lands, though.

TOTALLY annoying. The Dodos launching a national tour with the Ruby Suns, and San Francisco gets left out because they're playing the mediocre-lineup-almost-certainly-overpriced Outside Lands festival? So they're not playing a proper show in their own hometown? Weeeeeaaakkkkkk

Mikael - no. but there are a few places in the park around the venue where you can see (and definitely hear) some of the stages over the fence surrounding the festival.
