To Mollie M:
There are seats on the balcony. There are no restrictions and if you get there early you are assured a fantastic view.
To other folks:
Never seen chairs on the main floor but, then again, I didn't work the Merle show... sniff, sniff...
Almost all shows are all ages, so be prepared to show I.D. and wear a "drinky band" if you're having alcohol (most people look under-age in the dark). There's usually a caveat when shows are 21+, and so far that's only been for Camel sponsored stuff and "Pleasure Parties."
Come say hi. I have a mo-hawk and serve alcohol, often on the balcony...
whats the deal with the balcony. the general/balcony are the same price, so can you choose where to sit on arrival? i bought general...but im worries about sore legs/not being able to see/sweaty hair flips in my face. is the balcony age restricted?
I saw The National here and this venue is awesome. Gorgeous art deco, good sound, lots of space, and everybody can go wherever. Although, a friend saw Merle Haggard here recently and he had chairs. So standing room only on the floor is still up for debate.
Sergio, there's standing room only on the floor, but there are also balcony seats. From my understanding, everything's GA on a first come, first served basis.
I have two tickets for tonight. Anybody want them? I can email you the pdfs. I am sort of unenthused about being paid....you can buy me a drink at another show or give money to charity or something. Just email amy@sonicliving.com
Who wants to go to Beirut?? I have one extra general admission ticket available for a lucky person. Price: $30 (tm sells for 29.50 sans fees). Lemme know!
i'm dying to go either night.

Cute piggie, btw!
I hope there aren't chairs, though! That was my only problem with seeing Beirut at Herbst Theatre last year. I was itching to dance!

Tickets go on presale today, folks! Eeee!
I went to one of the shows at Herbst as well. I hope to see both nights this time! I hope the opener is better this time around...
