Slow Food Rocks is a two-day music celebration taking place at the spectacular Great Meadow at Fort Mason, with the back drop of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Featuring an eclectic line-up of artists, the two-day festival is part of the Slow Food Nation '08 inaugural festival.
Slow Food Rocks is on Saturday, August 30th from 11:00 am to 7:00pm and continues on Sunday, August 31st from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm. Single day tickets for Saturday and Sunday, as well as a limited number of special Two-Day Passes are on-sale now!

They just announced the ferry service to and from Manhattan will NOT be free (where did I get that idea?) but instead $20-$35 roundtrip each day depending on when you buy it. Crazy, if you ask me. Whit, I believe you can get tickets for Warfield shows at the Fillmore box office. It's open on show nights and during the day on Sunday.
