Shawn: I couldn't agree more. The name of this program (although quite successful in the last couple of years) is woefully out of date. What's more, I'm not even guaranteed entry. And I'm a MySpace Music employee! Le sigh.

"Myspace Secret Shows" is just the brand name for the series of concerts. The secrecy behind their shows has long been proven to be laughable, at best.

Is it really that "secret" of a show if it's advertised on MySpace? And is it really that hard to fake a printout of an HTML page that lists TurboTax in your top friends? Barf... I'll take the exorbitant drink prices and douchey atmosphere at Mezzanine over this crap, thanks.

There are other shows that I'd rather see on Wednesday and I just don't get Antony and the Johnsons so this Deerhunter show is my best option for fun on opening night.
