Nice looking venue, but the sound on the floor has major issues to be resolved. I think this is also the last time I ever pay to see Cake and/or the Lovemakers. Alas.

I will be ushering at this show. Look for a guy in a white shirt, black pants, and a blue mohawk (which may be down at the time of the show). If someone can save me their ticket stub at the end of the show, I would really appreciate it!

We're sorry to announce that, due to an injury, the D.A. Taylor benefit show has been postponed. Please see the note from Zach Rogue below for more info.
Hang onto your tickets as they will be valid for a rescheduled date to be announced over the coming weeks. Otherwise, you may request a refund from place of purchase.
In lieu of the benefit The Independent will be holding a free show this Friday night. “The Recession Proof Party” features local favorites minipop, Birds & Batteries, The Botticellis and Vin Sol.
“hey guys: to those of you beautiful people who bought tickets to the benefit show at the independent on 11/7, i am sad to say we have to postpone the show until ‘09. i badly injured my neck and arm in september and it is looking as though i may need surgery to try to fix the problem. this means i will be out of commission for at least the rest of the year.
hopefully, i will be back in fighting shape in the new year and ready to make it up to you. please take care of yourselves. we will be back, i promise.
