50% of the ticket price is what the charge per ticket wound up. I hate going to shows where I can't buy at face value and I hate Ticketmaster/Web.

With service charges tickets come to $47.25 each. Tix still available for the Saturday show as of 5 PM today, anyway.

also, the middle section of the Balcony's only sold up to about row B, so it seems there's plenty of room left.

I just tried TicketMaster and was able to pull up to 8 General Admission pit tickets, so I'm not sure what everyone's complaining about.

As of May 18th the warfield was no longer Bill Grahams. The final show was Phil Lesh and it ran until 3:30am on Monday the 19th. The venue has been closed until renovations are completed.
I stumbled on a blog or two that references the Phil Lesh show so it looks like there's some validity to that and given the lack of press I am going to guess that it is not permanently closed. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll raise the stage and make the entire floor one open floor.
