True, standing up front is never bad IMO, but getting up there at this deep warehouse is not easy. The Bright Eyes and Bloc Party shows left a lot to be desired due to the huge crowd, ass clowns in the front, and crap sound next to the soundboard (what? exactly). I will stop complaining for the day and return to my headphones. :p

Is there a venue worse than this one? It is 1/2 a block from my office and I hate it despite its mid-week convenience.

yeah, the acoustics there leave *a lot* to be desired. obviously bc it's not a dedicated performance space.
