Help Clean Vibes (http://www.cleanvibes.com) with the waste reclamation and clean up efforts at the Treasure Island Music Festival and gain FREE admission to the event!
(fully refundable deposit required)

Here’s the scoop:

There are 2 types of volunteer positions for this event – waste reclamation education and post event clean up.

1) Waste reclamation education, aka Garbage Goalies:

Saturday 9/15 and/or Sunday 9/16

- Volunteers will staff a waste reclamation station to ensure that all waste goes in the proper container.

- Clean Vibes will be using a 3-stream system for the collection of waste at this event – compost, recycling, and trash.

- Requires a high comfort level with talking with strangers and educating folks about proper waste disposal.

- Volunteers must work an 6 hour shift per day

- Shift times are 11am - 5 pm and 4:30pm - 10:30pm

- Volunteers will receive a free ticket to the event for the day that they volunteer

- A $60 FULLY REFUNDABLE deposit is required of all volunteers who are not Paid Staff for Clean Vibes in 2007. This deposit will be refunded within 5 business days of the festival. The only way it will not be refunded is if you do not show up and work your shift. The deposit guarantees your position and ensures for us that you will show up to work.

- Volunteers may choose to work both days of the festival or just one. A 6 hour shift and a $60 deposit is required for each day they choose to attend.


2) Post event clean up

SATURDAY (9/15) Post Event Clean Up

- Volunteers will be picking up loose litter on the ground, and working with the Clean Vibes staff to consolidate piles.

- Volunteers must work a 5 hour shift.

- Shift time is 9pm – 2am on Saturday night.

- Volunteers will receive a free ticket to the event for Saturday.

- A $60 FULLY REFUNDABLE deposit is required of all volunteers who are not Paid Staff for Clean Vibes in 2007.



MONDAY (9/17) Post Event Clean Up

- Volunteers will be picking up loose litter on the ground, and working with the Clean Vibes staff to consolidate piles.

- Volunteers must work a 10 hour shift on Monday after the event.

- Shift time is 9am – 7pm on Monday, September 17th.

- Volunteers will receive a free ticket to the event for BOTH Saturday and SUNDAY.

- A $80 FULLY REFUNDABLE deposit is required of all volunteers who are not Paid Staff for Clean Vibes in 2007.

They are not guaranteeing parking at Treasure Island unless you buy VIP tickets. There will be free parking at SBC Park, and they will provide transportation to and from Treasure Island.
