NPSH's show at bottom of the hill was awesome -- can't wait to see how they change their set!

Wow-- lotsa chatter about this show. I thought it was amazing. The rapping/ the talking/ the crazy guy rapping into a water bottle instead of a mic. My friend Awesome Man even got called up onto stage to talk to his "daddy," Kurt. I even like the venue. I've seen many shows there, so that may be familiarity, but the bartenders and security seem pretty cool to me. I'm there again tonight for SMD/ Cut Copy / Black Kids. Woo!

Oh, and there was the awesome / rediculous part where they did the first part of blue flowers, then did it again "remixed".

I wasn't at this show, but I like Mezzanine!

I've never been there before but I have some friends who absolutely refuse to go there to see shows even if their fave bands are playing, just 'cause they totally loathe the venue.

I thought it was a decent show. Not great but decent. I felt like Kurt was constrained by having to play a lot of beats from old albums. The few parts in the show where he was playing his own stuff (mainly in the beginning) was the best part of the show. I also thought the venue sucked and the security there are total pricks. I doubt I'll be going back to the Suckanine.

I dunno, i think that talking is part of the Kool Keith experience. The man is insane. There was also the guy who was rapping into a water bottle.

Yeah Richie Cunning had some great beats, too.

Damn, was that show hella tight! Except for the part where they stopped playing music and was just talkin' an' shit. I was like, WTF, is this Dr. Phil?? Come on, now!!
But then they got back to doin' it, the bboys got back to spinning on their heads, and it was all good. And that opener, Richie Cunning was holding it down, even without a DJ.
